Accountancy Support Programme
Having real confidence in your financial position and knowing your options can make decision-making a lot easier for business owners. If your business could benefit from expert financial advice, we can help you access the support you need.
The Accountancy Support Programme is a West of England Combined Authority initiative, delivered in partnership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). The programme provides small businesses with a free financial check-up, as well as bespoke advice and guidance on effective financial management.
The programme aims to enable growth and boost the productivity of small businesses, through hands-on coaching to help you to adopt new tools and processes, which is delivered by a chartered accountant. The support is fully funded and tailored to each company’s requirements, giving you access to the expertise you need to boost your business.
The programme can help your business:
- Better understand your financial position and assess how you could strengthen your business' financial resilience, for example through analysis of your balance sheet, profit and loss and cashflow, with guidance as to where there are areas for investigation or resolution.
- Understand how you could benefit from new financial management processes and best practice, for example improving financial reporting and forecasting, data management and controls.
- Access a network of expert financial support from ICAEW.
- Understand how they will benefit in the future from support of chartered accountants.
Eligible businesses will not be currently using a chartered accountant, and will be based in the West of England (Bath & North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire), with 5 -100 employees.
