Growing your enterprise - South Bristol Enterprise Support
South Bristol Enterprise Support
South Bristol businesses and entrepreneurs can now access an all-new business coaching programme to help advance your goals and turn your business dreams into reality.
The new enterprise support scheme for South Bristol will promote and provide support to fledgling and growing businesses in the region, featuring experts across a wide range of disciplines and industries. The South Bristol Enterprise Support Project (SBES) delivers tailored advice, coaching and grants and is now open for enquiries from budding entrepreneurs and start ups.
Bringing together a leading consortium of key partners the SBES programme offers solutions to help businesses effectively start-up, grow and deliver economic investment to the South Bristol community. It is a three year enterprise project, designed to give aspiring entrepreneurs and existing SMEs within South Bristol a platform for growth, development and future success.
Combining advice, mentoring, business support and in some cases a platform to test an idea, it will be delivered through a consortium of partners including Bristol City Council, YTKO, The School for Social Entrepreneurs, The Princes Trust and Knowle West Media Centre. The delivery partners will each be responsible for delivering support within specific sectors:
- YTKO will deliver growth and development programmes for private sector businesses. Through their range of services, spanning start-up, scale-up, and finance, they provide professional, proactive and results-driven support for companies seeking expansion.
- Knowle West Media Centre’s support will be tailored to creative production and digital manufacturing, working with new businesses looking to create prototype products using its world class facilities.
- The Princes Trust, Youth Enterprise specialises in tailoring specific mentorship for young people looking to take their next steps in business and the School for Social Entrepreneurs will help develop Social Enterprise business ideas.
Operating alongside its core delivery partners, SBES is funded by the European Union Regional Development Fund, HM Government and West of England Combined Authority.
